BIO

My name is Connor Surdi and I am a 19 year old photographer based in the city of Bellevue, Washington, about 15 minutes from Seattle. I first became interested in photography at my cousins wedding in 2007. I asked my sister if I could use her Canon 20D while she talked with the family. I took the camera, looked through the viewfinder and then pointed the camera at the trees that hung above me. With the snap of the shutter....I became addicted and photography became my drug. And by addicted...I mean I had to use it everyday, I would have a relapse if I didn't. Ever since then, I have been buying camera equipment and furthering my knowledge in the art of photography. The only way that I can learn is by trial and error, so I had to go through a ton of errors to get where I am today. As a photographer, I now see everything as I would see it through a viewfinder. I watch movies and instead of following along as a normal person would, I try to guess what lenses were used and how they got the extreme angles in certain scenes. Photography has changed my life and it's most definitely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to see where photography takes me next.
